Katty Maurey

Illustrator and Visual Designer

Katty Maurey is a Canadian illustrator with over 15 years of experience in
multimedia installations and live events. After graduating with a bachelor’s
degree in graphic design from UQAM, Montreal, she has gone on to work
on numerous projects from concept to production design, for companies
such as for Supply and Demand, Moment Factory, GSM, Gentilhomme,
Shed, Quad Paris for clients such as Telus Spark Center, Boston Science
Museum, Cartier, Disney World, LAX Airport, Changi Airport, among
others. She likes to weave coherent visual languages with an artful touch
for any project she is involved in.
Katty is also a published children’s book illustrator (La Pastèque,
Flammarion, La Courte Échelle, Kids Can Press, Owl Kids, Enchanted
Lion and Tundra). She has earned recognition for her work, she was
made finalist for 2012’s Governor General’s Literary Award for Quand
j’était chien, La Courte échelle and mentioned by the New York Times for
The Specific Ocean, Kids Can Press. Her work appears regularly in the
Walrus, Maisonneuve, The Literary Review.
