Maxim Lepage
After completing his master’s degree in musicology at Université de Montréal, Maxim Lepage started his career as a composer making simultaneously grunge-rock music for the colorful world of VRAK TV, classical minimalistic music for independent theater and epic electronic scores for video games with Space & Dreams.
He has been eventually noticed by the audio-visual masters Lemieux-Pilon for whom he worked on various creations for the Planetarium de Montréal, MBAM, TNM and Cité Mémoire, huge project celebrating the 375th anniversary of Montreal.
Many shows with Cirque du Soleil followed: he created the music of the Opening Ceremonies of Toronto's Pan American Games in 2015, La Forge aux Étoiles for the Futuroscope in France, and also world-touring shows Sonor, Viaggio and Crystal. Following a great collaboration with director Sebastien Soldevilla on Crystal, he didn't stop working with Cirque 7 Fingers for special large-scale shows (The Last Chapter in Dubaï, Prime Time in Moscow, Cadence in Montreal) while working on projects for Vidanta in Mexico and immersive exhibitions with Supply+Demand in Calgary and H2Emotions in Oslo.
