Raphaël Dupont

Interactive Designer

Raphaël Dupont is a multidisciplinary visual designer, scenographer, and video artist based in Montréal, specializing in integrating interactive technologies into the performing arts. He blends innovative video and sound installations with real-time programming to create immersive and interactive environments for theatre, dance, and music. 

Trained in visual arts and digital media, he has collaborated with several companies, including Cirque du Soleil, where he worked as a video and interactive designer. His projects have been presented internationally, ranging from video mapping for theatre to augmented-reality dance performances and large-scale interactive video installations. 

Raphaël is proficient with tools such as VVVV, Notch, Unreal, and a wide range of digital creation platforms, as well as interactive systems, media servers, motion-capture technologies, and real-time capture solutions. His expertise also includes video projection, lighting design, and multimedia scenography, allowing him to work fluidly across both artistic and technical roles. With deep knowledge of communication protocols and interactive programming, he brings technology into live performance with precision and creativity.
