Stefan Miljevic
A film director, stage director and creation director, Stefan Miljevic has forged a thriving career in film and entertainment for the past 20 years. He received a bachelor’s degree in arts and literature from Concordia University (Montreal) in 1995 and a certificate in film directing from the Institut National de l’Image et du Son (Montreal) in 1998.
Throughout his career, Stefan has collaborated on and created shows for companies such as Cirque du Soleil, 45 Degrees, Circo de Bakuza Moment Factory, Cirque Éloize and Balich Wonder Studio; for international clients such as Fiat, McLaren Mercedes, GM, Microsoft, FIBA, EUFA, SAP, IWC, Adidas, Bell Canada, Oakley, L’Oréale & the Pan Am Games. He also directed the opening and closing ceremonies of the Euro 2016 in Paris, France, as well as the Champions League Final 2014 ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal.
For Cirque du Soleil, he has acted as Director of Creation on the company’s touring ice show, Cirque du Soleil CRYSTAL (2017), as well as on the Las Vegas resident show, R.U.N (2019). For the latter, he also directed the live action video sequences, based on a script penned by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Alita, Desperado, El Mariachi). More recently, he has helmed the creation of a series of seasonal shows both in Saudi Arabia (Cirque du Soleil FUZION, 2022) and Andorra (FESTA, 2023).
As Creative Director, he recently collaborated on the creation of 3 Digital Immersion Galleries with Quebec-based content producer, Supply & Demand Studio. Commissioned by the Telus Spark Center in Calgary, Canada, the first exhibit, Every Second, opened in 2021 and focused its narrative on the statistics of our lives. It featured voice-over narration by Italian-American actress, Isabella Rosselini. The second exhibit, Quantum Sandbox, opened in spring 2022, and proposed an interactive journey through environments inspired by 5 quantum principles. Based on Margaret Wise Brown’s classic tale, the 3rd exhibit, Goodnight Moon, opened in November 2022, and brought story time to life to a new generation of dreamers.
Stefan pursues his creative collaboration with Supply and Demand to this day.
